Denny Conn of Eugene received the American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee Award that’s awarded for outstanding service to the community of homebrewers. In addition to these three winners from Portland, another Oregon member of the brewing community received an award. Jordan Folks of the Portland Brewers Collective took home Gold in Belgian Ale and American Wild Ale Categories, while Scott Nieradka of the Oregon Brew Crew took home Gold in Amber European Beer, and Mark Beck of the Portland Brewers Collective took home Silver in Strong Belgian Ale.
